How long do you have to earn: the attribution windows
Short answer
TikTok Shop counts seven days from the last tap. Amazon counts a session of twenty four hours, with eighty nine days more for an item already in the cart. Between them those two numbers explain most of the commissions that never arrive, and both are shorter than the ones people repeat.

Why the big numbers you have seen are wrong
A hundred days circulates for TikTok Shop. That is how long the link stays alive, not how long you have. Ninety days circulates for Amazon. That is the cart exception on one item, not a window on everything.
Getting this wrong costs real money, because it changes what you do after a video: you wait for sales that were never coming instead of posting the next one.
One video, two clocks
Link both programs and you are running two windows at once over the same audience, and they do not behave alike: one gives you a week from the tap, the other gives you a day. So the clock is shown per order instead of blended into one total that means nothing.
What people actually ask
Does a view start the window?
- A tap does. TikTok also counts a view window on its ads, which is a different thing from an affiliate tap, and it is shorter.
What happens when the window closes with nothing bought?
- Nothing arrives, and on most dashboards nothing explains it either. That is a commission that expired, and it is worth seeing as its own number.
